Sterling Corporation’s Efforts to Maintain a Safe Working Environment for All

Most of Sterling’s services require teamwork to make them happen. We are committed to working with everyone involved in everything we do to ensure one key goal: the health and well-being of our customers, employees, and their families.

Sterling has provided everyone who interacts with our customers – employees, office personnel, drivers and crews – with safety measure guidance in an effort to prevent the spread of germs and illness.

We will continue to take every precaution feasible to ensure a safe working environment for all. The following Sterling Corporation guidelines have been put in place to help promote safety during any work planned.

No Handshakes
To avoid personal contact, you can expect a warm greeting and a big smile from your crew, but no handshake. Please don’t be offended – it’s for everyone’s safety.

Maintain Distance
We will comply with important social distancing measures with our customers during all on-site interactions. Wherever possible, we will use online and video communication options.

Masks
As per State of Massachusetts regulations, our employees will wear face masks while on the job.

Germ-Free Crews Mean Germ Free Jobs
If possible, provide access to a sink, soap and paper towels for your moving crew throughout the move, and hand sanitizer by the door. Don’t worry about having enough – our crews come prepared!

Keep it Clean Before We Get to Your Location
We have implemented a number of procedures aimed at creating the safest possible interactions with our personnel and equipment.

  • Our drivers are provided with the equipment to regularly disinfect their trucks throughout the day.
  • We have full-time staff whose sole job is to continually disinfect our facilities and equipment
  • Directives for regular handwashing and the use of hand sanitizer provided by the company.

Communication is Key
If anyone in your organization may have contracted Coronavirus or are isolating due to virus exposure or potential exposure, please contact your Sterling representative immediately so we may determine whether any services must be delayed or revised.
