Warehouse Manager, Household Goods (Bozrah, CT)

Sterling Office Services is one of the largest, providers of commercial relocation services in New England and the Greater Boston area.

We have over 425,000 square feet of storage capacity at our warehouses located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, and are looking for a warehouse manager for our household goods division LOCATED IN BOZRAH, CT. We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, responsible individual who works well in a supportive, team environment.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all aspects of warehousing including but not limited to:
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution
• Implementing operational policies and procedures
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Motivating and disciplining staff
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
• Assisting Operations as needed
• Maintaining excellent warehouse standards

• Understanding of warehouse management procedures
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
• Strong interpersonal and management skills
• Availability to work extended hours
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer literate
• Ability to operate a forklift effectively
• Valid driver’s license
• 2+ years of previous warehouse management experience
